Once an order is placed through an HID customer service representative, current direct customers can simply log on to the secure website, and look up their orders using their own purchase order numbers or the HID sales order number. They can limit how many orders are displayed by selecting only open or only closed orders, or by specifying a specific time range. Detailed shipping information is also available via a direct link from the shipping tracking number to the carrier's website.
"Our beta testing has shown that this website provides a valuable service for our customers," said Debra Spitler, HID Executive Director of Marketing. "Our experienced customer service representatives are still available to help HID customers place or track their orders. This service provides our customers the ability to check their order status over the Web whenever convenient for them."
